vanilla_nut Have you ever had a nightmare about a dystopian future backed by a GBA synth soundtrack? This could be the album for you. "The glowing goo" is my favorite theme. Favorite track: Paydirt (The Sycophant & The Entrepreneur).

kref Place of Honor is at once a prog rock opera, a chiptunes interpretive dance, and a biting social commentary. Without a word spoken, Computer Nerd tells a story of greed, hope and loss. Unpretentious, unassuming and fun, Place of Honor is a strong entry into the library of any fan of 16-bit games, concept albums, spicy midi solos and driving melodies. Favorite track: Sycophantasia.

about

10,000 years in the future, a new civilization's charismatic leader named The Entrepreneur discovers a nuclear waste site from our time. Ignoring the warning signs we built into it, he rallies his people to plunder the site's toxic treasure.

The story was inspired by memes about the long-term nuclear waste warning messages research project of the '90s, which gave us such cryptic gems as: "This place is not a place of honor... nothing valued is here."
